I recommend a free app Car Obd Doctor + ELM327.  It nicely shows the work of the Lambda Sensors. I tested it on my missus' pug 107 1.0 petrol. I guess it is worth making a video of our lambdas when they are sound so as to refer to their correct work when they are at fault
